Privacy policy

StepUpMart respects your privacy and complies with POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act, South Africa).

What we collect. Name, delivery address, email, phone number — only what's needed to fulfil and support your order. Payment data is handled by PayFast; we never see or store your card details.

How we use it. To process and deliver orders, send delivery updates, and reply to support questions. With your consent, we may send occasional marketing emails — you can unsubscribe at any time.

Cookies & advertising. Essential cookies keep your cart working. The Meta Pixel shares pages viewed, product IDs, shopping actions, order value and currency, advertising cookie identifiers, IP address and browser information with Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram) for advertising measurement and optimization. We do not add customer email addresses or phone numbers to Pixel matching data.

Your advertising choice. In regions requiring consent, or when your region cannot be determined, advertising tracking stays disabled until you accept. Elsewhere it may run without a banner, honoring saved refusals and supported browser opt-outs. Use Cookie settings in the footer to accept or reject at any time. Withdrawal stops future advertising tracking. We retain a browser-stored choice record with a visitor reference, region, decision time, notice version and any previous acceptance time; essential cart cookies are unaffected.

Sharing. We share your delivery address with our courier partner and permitted advertising activity with Meta as described above. Shopify and PayFast process checkout and payment information. Shopify checkout has its own privacy choices. We never sell your information.
